In the last few years we have seen a huge rise in quality television being available through the internet. BBC iPlayer set the standard with ITV and Channel 4 following suit with ITV Player and 4OD. All three of these services can be viewed through the Playstation 3.

Unfortunately, they can’t be seen on Xbox 360, however 360 owners can watch Sky through their console with the Sky Player service. For those who don’t have Sky, the service allows you to watch Sky through the need of a satellite dish. Those who do have Sky will be pleased to know that Sky Player is free as long as you have a subscription to Xbox Live.

Those of you who don’t have Sky but have a friend who do should ask them for a favour. Sky subscribers can add one Xbox 360 and one PC to their account so if your friend has Sky but doesn’t have an Xbox, ask if they wouldn’t mind providing you with the code. Hey presto – free Sky though your Xbox 360!
